Sun West Custom Homes' in-house architecture team interprets and designs each home in conjunction with the client and the construction team. This allows the project to be completed to exact specifications and concentrates on reducing design problems in the field, thus reducing costly and time consuming construction changes.

Daniel S. Coletti, the President of Sun West and a Residential Designer licensed in the state of Nevada, along with Carl Martinez, the President of Residential Construction, will visit the client's lot many times prior to putting pencil to paper. The site investigations allow Dan and Carl to analyze the assets and hidden attributes that each lot posses. Following the visits, an initial floor plan is drafted utilizing the client's ideas and wish list, as site plan of the parcel, and Dan's initial vision.

Mr. Coletti then meets with the client and begins a detailed "asset allocation" process, involving a 13-page multi-sectioned amenities questionnaire designed to help clients with plans of their dream home, optional items and costs. The questions are to gather personal information from the client, as well as to probe clients to explore their innermost wants and aversions in order to extract their true desires while maintaining budget limitations. The extensive questionnaire is more comprehensive than any survey used in the industry today and can take up to four hours to complete.

Sun West Custom Homes takes great pride in thoroughly discussing all options by explaining any pros and cons to a client and addressing any individual concerns.

Dan and Carl utilize a computerized cost analysis program to detail all construction costs and a preliminary cost per square foot, enabling clients the flexibility to adjust the price to fit their personal finances versus their needs prior to finalizing the plans.
